London Diary – Thanksgiving in London

Thanksgiving Day in London started with a US Thanksgiving Day Service at the magnificent St Paul Cathedral. US Ambassador to UK was there among others, and made a speech. I always love America the Beautiful, singing it today with the other American expats at St Paul, I teared up.

Who knew Thanksgiving could be so yummy in London. We pigged out at Benjamin Franklin House’s annual Thanksgiving Dinner tonight. Everything was good, turkey, gravy, cranberry sauce, stuffing, mash potatoes, corn bread, fries medley, Pearl onions, green beans, especially the pumpkin pie. It is most certainly one of the best Thanksgiving.
